Mission Statement
At Camp BYOB, we aim to create transformative experiences reconnecting adults with joy, nature, and authentic human connection. We provide thoughtfully designed spaces where grown-ups can step away from daily responsibilities, rediscover their playful spirit, and foster meaningful relationships through shared adventures. Through immersive outdoor experiences, opportunities for connection, and moments of reflection, we empower adults to expand their boundaries, nurture their well-being, and return to their everyday lives with renewed energy and perspective. Camp BYOB exists to remind the world that play isn't just for children—it's an essential part of a balanced, fulfilled adult life.

Our Pledge
As a member of the Camp BYOB team, I understand that my role is not just logistical—it is relational. I am a steward of this space, a holder of its energy, and a guide for those who arrive trusting us with their joy, vulnerability, and play.
I pledge to show up with presence. To notice who feels lost, overwhelmed, shy, or unseen—and to meet them with kindness, patience, and respect.
I pledge to lead without ego. To offer guidance without control. To create safety without rigidity. To remember that authority here is rooted in care, not power.
I pledge to honor choice. I will never pressure someone to participate. I will celebrate enthusiasm and respect boundaries with equal care. I understand that rest, stillness, and opting out are as valid as turning up.
I pledge to protect belonging. I will help ensure Camp BYOB remains a space where all bodies, identities, expressions, and energies are welcomed without condition. I will interrupt exclusion, shame, or harm—gently when possible, firmly when necessary.
I pledge to treat play as sacred. I recognize that laughter, movement, silliness, creativity, and curiosity are powerful tools for healing. I will not diminish them, rush them, or dismiss them.
I pledge to care for the collective. I will encourage hydration, rest, and mutual responsibility. I will look out for my fellow staff and campers alike. I will ask for help when I need it and offer help when I see it needed.
I pledge to model the culture we are building. I will embody openness, warmth, and authenticity. I understand that how I speak, move, listen, and respond shapes the experience more than any schedule or activity.
I pledge to remember why this place exists. Camp BYOB is not about perfection. It is about permission.
Permission to be human. Permission to play. Permission to belong.
I accept this responsibility with care, humility, and joy.
