We Hope This Helps
Camp BYOB is an adult summer camp experience (21+) centered around radical inclusion, authentic connection, and the healing power of play. We're a POC-led organization creating safe spaces where marginalized folks and allies can be their full, unapologetic selves while enjoying workshops, nature, theme parties, and genuine community. It's not just a weekend getaway—it's a transformative experience where strangers become family and you remember what it feels like to be truly alive.
If you're feeling nervous, that's completely normal! Many of our campers have never done anything like this before. What matters isn't your experience level—it's your willingness to show up authentically and be open to connection. We've created this space specifically for people who might not have fit in elsewhere. Your presence matters, and we can't wait to meet you.
You can absolutely come alone! Many of our campers do, and it's often the people who come solo who make the deepest connections because they're more open to meeting new people. That said, bringing your crew is also amazing—there's something special about experiencing camp with people you already love. Either way works beautifully. This is also a great space to bring family or a romantic partner.
Of course! Security will check every camper upon entry and re-entry for the safety of all campers.
Yes! We offer payment plans to make camp more accessible. You can split your payment into three installments. Talk to a Camp BYOB representative about how to set up your payment plan.
Yes! Groups of 8+ receive a discounted rate. All group members must register together using our group registration code. Contact us at info.campbyob@gmail.com (mailto:info.campbyob@gmail.com)to coordinate group tickets.
If camp is sold out, you can join our waitlist. We'll contact you if spots open up due to cancellations or if we're able to expand capacity.
Full refunds will only be issued if the event has to be cancelled.
If you're coming with friends, we'll do our best to put you together—just note that in your registration. If you're coming solo, we'll match you with other campers.
We have limited upgraded VIP options.
We have shared bathroom facilities with toilets, sinks, and showers. They're cleaned regularly throughout camp. Bring your own toiletries, towels, and shower shoes.
A full packing list will be sent after the purchase of your ticket.
Immediately after the purchase of your ticket, you will receive a packing list, our code of conduct, the liability waiver, and a registration form.
Yes! We have multiple nurses on the campgrounds at all times throughout the event. First aid stations are clearly marked, and emergency contact information will be on file for all campers.
Yes, at all times. They search vehicles, people, and belongings at check-in to keep both staff and campers safe.
Absolutely not! All activities are optional. Participate in what calls to you and skip what doesn't. Some people do everything, others pick and choose, and some just want to hang out and connect. There's no wrong way to camp.
Always ask before photographing someone. Don't post photos of others without their consent, and be especially careful about outing people or sharing images that reveal their identity without permission. Some people need privacy for safety reasons. We encourage celebrating camp on social media, but consent and safety come first.
We're open to partnerships with brands and organizations that align with our values. Email info.campbyob@gmail.com (mailto:info.campbyob@gmail.com)with your proposal.
